How do you make the most of the Watches of Switzerland in-house experts to underline the expertise of the broader business? What’s the best strategy for creating video content which is both informative but also achieving brand goals. Watches of Switzerland asked us to create a series of videos that delves deeper into some of their favourite products.
Nemorin’s solution and activation
We took a slightly unusual creative approach in this series of videos for Watches of Switzerland. Leaning on the knowledge of the watch experts, in and out of vision, to lend credence to the films, we adopted a straightforward shooting style: a single location, a single set-up, lit and shot beautifully. It’s a campaign spanning a watch-type explainer series, and interviews with staff.
The products are films using specialist probe lenses for close-ups of the watches and were shot on a RED Cinema camera with prime lenses by one of our senior directors of photography. The scenes re carefully lit to get a truly premium image.
The challenge came from the attention to detail required: our footage needed to make the watches look perfect, avoiding even the tiniest speck of dust or a smudge.
As well as four main films we created an entire series of shorter cutdowns for use as teasers on social media.
