Three weeks of shooting. A month of editing. Twelve main films with social cutdowns of each, culminating in a TV advertisement.
We managed the complete video part of this campaign with South African Tourism via their publisher and agency.
Nemorin’s Senior Producer/Director and Director of Photography travelled to South Africa for a three-week tour to film all aspects of the country.
The crew also included a photographer, a production assistant and a driver, and presented all kinds of logistical challenges to overcome. The project was shot with a Sony FS7 and a range of lenses, and a DJI Mavic Pro. (Overwhelmed by jargon? Find the answers in our glossary of terms)
Each week’s footage was shipped back to our London studio for our Senior Editor to work on, via both a physical drive and an online link to ensure we had safe duplicates of all the rushes.
We cut everything in Adobe CC and re-versioned the content in square and landscape cut-downs to maximise the client’s investment.
The campaign was wrapped up by the production of a TV commercial for South African Tourism and British Airways which aired on Channel 4. Our post-production team edited and mastered the file for broadcast delivery, as well as managed the entire Clearcast process.
