Challenges and objectives
How do you present one of the world’s most famous tennis players, Roger Federer in a different way? How can we incorporate his incredible sporting legacy while interconnecting his relationship with Credit Suisse with genuine impact and authenticity?
Nemorin’s solution and activation
CNBC asked us to help bring an incredible documentary to life for their client, Credit Suisse. Tennis superstar Roger Federer discovers a new dimension of himself through a unique and secret art collaboration hidden in plain sight at the Venice Biennale.
Filmed in the year leading up to Roger Federer’s retirement, he was secretly involved in one of his other great life passions — art.
The project is called “Burn- Shine-Fly” by Swiss multi-media artist Ugo Rondinone. It comprises seven airborne figures — life-sized, cloud-painted bodies — one of which is unveiled as Federer.
The end result is a beautiful long-form documentary, which combines a retrospective look at his own career and his other passion, art. The film was hosted on a dedicated hub as part of a broader CNBC campaign.
