We worked closely with a leading UK publisher to create a suite of videos for a campaign for the Office of National Statistics, encouraging people to fill out the UK Census.
To create engaging, entertaining content we wrote a quiz based on some stand-out findings from the Census of previous years, and put it in front of A-list TV talent Alesha Dixon.
We shot the 3-minute video in a studio in Central London. We filmed it as live, with two robotic full HD Black Magic cameras, an autocue for the pieces to camera, and vision mixed from the studio gallery.
Headset communication between the director on the studio floor and the tech team in the gallery kept the production streamlined.
The client, based in Cardiff, dialled into the shoot remotely to remove the need for any unnecessary travel.
We created custom graphics for the intro in Adobe After Effects and reversioned the hero film into a suite of cutdowns for YouTube pre-roll, Instagram, and The Mirror website.
We turned around the entire project from green light to final delivery in just three weeks.
