Nat Geo Traveller (UK) is published by APL media in the UK. They work with a range of tourist boards around the world to create digital and printed features as part of promotional campaigns. They have enlisted the production services of Nemorin to act as their video arm for their narrative-rich, audience centric commercial video work.
As with all our media owner clients, a key challenge is to balance to tone of voice of the host editorial platform with the objectives of the ultimate client.
Nemorin’s solution and activation
Nemorin takes an informative, documentary-led approach to the projects with APL Media and its clients. For each project, the client sent Nemorin a brief with key themes highlighted, such as food, culture, nature, and history. Nemorin then researched and identified stories, proposed a narrative structure and storyboarded the ideal shoot.
When the client and APL were both happy we then sent in-house crews to the client countries to work with Nemorin’s extended network of crews on the ground.
Back in the studio the content is typically cut into short-form documentaries for use online. Our digital films for SA Tourism were also later repurposed as TV commercials.
