When iknowa came to us asking for a video to help launch their new product, we recommended more than just a piece to camera.
Our client’s sector has suffered some reputational damage recently, from a breakdown in trust between tradespeople and their customers. By giving iknowa a human face we hoped to reassure their potential clients that the company can be trusted.
Using the Eye Direct, we conducted interviews with the two founders individually and then together, and used jump cuts to create an energetic and exciting video.
The charisma of the founders made it a more engaging video than simply putting the product front and centre.
We shot this during the Covid-19 pandemic which required a wealth of new risk assessments. Shot by just a crew of two – a producer and a camera operator – we filmed in the Nemorin studio which was deep cleaned before and after the shoot.
The crew maintained social distancing from the contributors and wore masks at all times. Kit was wiped down and the producer encouraged everyone to keep sanitising their hands.
The video was edited remotely, and we animated the subtitles in a colourful, engaging way to reflect the wider tone of voice.
