This project for Hugo Boss took us to Los Angeles to shoot a collaboration with architect Sigurd Larsen.
It was a huge production, with a crew of over 45 people including hair and make-up artists, runners, drivers, gaffers, assistants, a wardrobe department and several motorhomes and trucks to transport everything.
We shot with an Alexa Mini and cinema-grade prime lenses and the film was edited and mastered in the Nemorin production office in London.
Nemorin’s in-house producer/director developed the concept of the duality of city and nature, and travelled to the US to lead the shoot.
After extensive storyboarding and shot planning, the crew filmed over two days in Beverly Hills, California, in both a stylish modern apartment and a natural outdoors space.
One particular challenge involved having to use a body double to seamless transition between scenes due to the availability of the talent.
The January Californian sun provided perfect weather to film the spring/summer Hugo Boss collection.
