How We’re Filming Safely

Filming safely

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve had some successful shoots. Although Covid-19 has forced us to change the way we work, we can still film great content with our talented teams.

The last two projects were filmed in our Soho office. The shoots were straightforward enough, but we’ve updated our health and safety policies and risk assessments to make even simple projects like this as safe as possible.

Here’s what we’ve done:

– All crew wear masks at all times.
– Hand sanitising stations are positioned around the studio.
– Crews are kept to a minimum to limit the number of people gathered in one place.
– Call times are staggered to avoid people travelling at peak times.
– Crews are kept 2m apart at all times.

In addition we’ve been shooting on long lenses to keep a nice distance between the camera operator and the talent.

Both the shoots went well, and you can see our safety measures in action here:

To top it off, each member of our production team has completed the Screen Skills Coronavirus training and assessment with scores of 100%.

Covid has thrown us a curveball, but we’re always on the lookout for better ways to do things. So we’ve adapted easily.

If you’ve got any upcoming shoots you need a hand with, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
